National Poetry Day
Thursday 1st October is National Poetry Day. We will be sharing poems in school; why not look at some of your favourite poems at home too?
There are some ideas of poems to share on the National Poetry Day website.
Yom Kippur is the holiest day of the year in Judaism and our children will learn about it in assembly this week. Our older children will also be looking at th UK's nine Protected Characteristics.
On Wednesday it is the start of Black History Month and we will be sharing some inspirational stories over the coming weeks.
On Saturday 4th October we open our school doors to families looking for Reception places in 2026, please pass on the invitation to anyone with children who will be starting school next year or the year after.
