Welcome to the Hub

Hello! Welcome to the Learning and Skills Hub at Charles Darwin Primary School

The Family Learning team, Northwich Work Zone and Charles Darwin Primary School have come together to offer you, and those in the local community, an inviting place to meet with others, whilst accessing a range of workshops and courses, additional services, and mentoring programmes.

You can develop a variety of skills that can help you at home and with any future aspirations.

Some workshops and courses will enable children to work alongside their parent/carer, whilst others are for adults only.

All workshops, courses, additional services, and mentoring programmes are free and there is a huge range on offer.

Leah Thorman and Donna Lomas are both parents in the school who have completed a range of our Family Learning courses, including the Level 2 Teaching Assistant course, as well as Health and Wellbeing and craft-based courses. Please have a chat with them if you are interested in knowing more about their experiences with Family Learning.

Please keep an eye-out for flyers advertising any upcoming workshops and courses. Our sessions will usually take place on a Friday afternoon, but when possible, they may be offered at other times in the week too!
