It is also the Children's Football Writing Festival during half term.  Children's authors including Tom Palmer and Eve Ainsworth read from their books and talk about how to write best selling football books.  Have a look using this link to The National Football Museum.

Are you ready to be a part of an exciting space mission? ESA and Paxi are calling on space-inspired kids to help launch ESA’s exciting new mission to Jupiter in style!

The Juice Up Your Rocket! Art competition calls all kids up to 12 years old to help ESA create an illustration to decorate the huge Ariane 5 rocket that will launch the spacecraft on its long journey towards planet Jupiter.

A little closer to home, why not create a piece of artwork foe the Northwich Cave Gallery?  The theme for the first exhibition is 'Hunker'.  Our year 5 and 6 children already know about Henry Moore and how to recreate his air raid images so they will be full of ideas for the exhibition.  Post your work online or in your window to create a virtual and physical gallery in Northwich.
