This Week

Welcome back to school! The children have settled in really quickly and are working hard already. This week house points were won by Finches.

On Monday Year 1 will be visiting Marshall's Arm. Wellies and waterproofs and a spare pair of shoes please.

On Wednesday we would like to welcome parents into school for a first aid course – please see separate mail for further information. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about how to treat minor injuries in the home.

Our school nurse has a drop in session on Wednesday morning from 8.30 until 10.00.

There is a Bike Right session for Year 5 on Thursday. You will receive an email if your child is on the course.

Finally on Friday we return to our class assemblies. This week is the turn of Mrs Holden’s Year 1 class. Families are welcome to attend and join the children in the classroom afterwards to show off their work.

Good morning Year 1,

How are you all today? I was in school yesterday and it is all very strange not having you in the classroom. Also it would have been a very busy week for us this week as my class would have been practising for their class assembly.

Thank you for sending in your bean photos it looks like you have been brilliant at looking after them, Eva was looking after hers so well her rabbit decided to have a nibble because it looked so tasty! I'm going to put them on the school gallery to show everyone what you have been up to.

Don't forget to keep up your home learning, if you are wanting to catch up with Maths that was previously set you are still able to do the online My Maths tasks, not everyone has managed to do them yet! Miss Barrow and I can leave feedback for you on My Maths and also on your home learning too. We have started to write your school reports so make sure you keep up your good work!
