This Week

Welcome back to school! The children have settled in really quickly and are working hard already. This week house points were won by Finches.

On Monday Year 1 will be visiting Marshall's Arm. Wellies and waterproofs and a spare pair of shoes please.

On Wednesday we would like to welcome parents into school for a first aid course – please see separate mail for further information. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about how to treat minor injuries in the home.

Our school nurse has a drop in session on Wednesday morning from 8.30 until 10.00.

There is a Bike Right session for Year 5 on Thursday. You will receive an email if your child is on the course.

Finally on Friday we return to our class assemblies. This week is the turn of Mrs Holden’s Year 1 class. Families are welcome to attend and join the children in the classroom afterwards to show off their work.

Good morning Year 3,

We hope you are all well and are settling in to new routines at home! It is good to see some of you are already getting into home learning- don't worry if you haven't yet!

One or two people have mentioned difficulty uploading work - please remember that although we would love to see the work you are doing at home, we don't need evidence of everything you do. What is important is that you settle into new routines and let us know if you need help understanding anything!

Make sure you are practising your 2,5,10,3,4 and 8 times tables. There is plenty of time to become real masters of these! www.ttrockstars.com

With maths in mind, www.themathsfactor.com is FREE at the moment- this is an excellent site from Carol Vorderman (ask your parents!) and has lots of really good activities and games!
