This Week

Welcome back to school! The children have settled in really quickly and are working hard already. This week house points were won by Finches.

On Monday Year 1 will be visiting Marshall's Arm. Wellies and waterproofs and a spare pair of shoes please.

On Wednesday we would like to welcome parents into school for a first aid course – please see separate mail for further information. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about how to treat minor injuries in the home.

Our school nurse has a drop in session on Wednesday morning from 8.30 until 10.00.

There is a Bike Right session for Year 5 on Thursday. You will receive an email if your child is on the course.

Finally on Friday we return to our class assemblies. This week is the turn of Mrs Holden’s Year 1 class. Families are welcome to attend and join the children in the classroom afterwards to show off their work.

Good morning Year 3!

We hope you are well and keeping healthy! It is good to see you are working steadily on Century and we are also getting some super work for English too. If you haven't uploaded work yet try to do this this week!

There is some exciting news - Have a look at the Recommended Reads blog to inspire you with some fantastic reads! There are also some book reviews by members of our very own staff - what more recommendation do you need?!

STEM club is under way - you can find the activities on the Home Learning page under STEM - This week there is a Marble Challenge to get stuck into for all you budding Scientists and Engineers!

Keep going on TT Rockstars - this is great practice for you and we have done well battling the other year groups.

It's a bit wet today, perfect for sitting down and having a real blast at school work! Let's get to it.
